This view is similar to a radar application on a phone that provides radar, current weather, alerts and the forecast for a location. Multi-component spectra are separated into four clusters, which are well distinguished by spectrum width and vertical velocity. Live Doppler Radar: Portland, Me., Lewiston, Me., Bangor, Me., Ogunquit, Me., Burlington, Vt., Essex, Vt., Manchester, Nh., Concord, Nh., Nashua, Nh., Boston, Ma., Worcester, Ma., Springfield, Ma., Bridgeport, Ct., New Haven, Ct., Hartford, Ct. This view combines radar station products into a single layer called a mosaic and storm based alerts. Use the bottom toolbar to select between past radar and future. Weather Alerts: The category of 'Weather Alerts' will give you the current NOAA Weather Alerts. The interactive radar from Minnesota’s Weather Authority is a powerful tool that gives you the ability to track weather conditions. The more zoomed in you are, the faster the radar will render. Put a check next to both 'Radar (Mosaic)' and 'Animate Radar' in order to view radar animation. In particular, the spectrum width and skewness of seeded cloud show a two-layer structure, which reflects cloud component changes, and it is possibly related to cloud seeding effects. Put a check mark next to Radar (Mosaic) to view the very latest radar image. The cloud-precipitation process is detected by the CDWL, microwave radiometer (MWR) and Advanced Geosynchronous Radiation Imager (AGRI) in FY4A satellites. The CDWL can monitor the cloud motion and provide windshear and turbulence information ensuring operation safety. View other Northeast LA radar models including Long Range, Base, Composite, Storm Motion, Base Velocity, and Storm Total with the option of viewing static radar images in dBZ and Vcp measurements, for surrounding areas of Northeast.

Spectrum analysis was applied as a field experiment performed in Inner Mongolia, China (112☃9′ E, 42☂1′ N ) to support the cloud seeding operation for the 70th anniversary of China’s national day. 1 Hour Rainfall Total Doppler Radar loop for Northeast LA, providing current animated map of storm severity from precipitation levels. The spectrum detection capability of a CDWL was verified by a 24.23-GHz Micro Rain Radar (MRR) in Hefei, China (117☁5′ E, 31★0′ N), and different types of lidar spectra were detected and separated, including aerosol, turbulence, cloud droplet, and precipitation. A weather radar is used to locate precipitation, calculate its motion, estimate its type (rain. Normalized skewness was employed to identify the components of the reflectivity spectrum. The Current Radar map shows areas of current precipitation. In this study, an approach for directly observing the cloud seeding effect is proposed using a 1548 nm coherent Doppler wind lidar (CDWL). Evaluation of the cloud seeding effect is a challenge due to lack of directly physical observational evidence.
